We are writing to inform you that due to the current political situation in the municipality of Riomaggiore, Italy, Hostel Cinque Terre in Manarola may be forced to close after the 2011 season. On July 23rd, the new mayor announced that the municipality has declared bankruptcy, and will begin selling its assets, including the hostel building . After 13 years of passion and hard work, we are not going to leave the hostel without a fight, and we’ll do everything in our power to keep our business open.
